Serendipity

Well, after giving it a lot of thought, I decided to start my own blog and scatter my thoughts around.

Its a nice chill December morning in Florida and I am sipping a cup of warm coffee looking at the beautiful view outside my house. This is where I always feel fortunate. I have always dreamt of a lake or a river with a mountain top or deep woods around my house, just like those you see in the paintings and posters.

I have this east facing french window to my apartment accompanied with a small patio, which is now followed by grass and a beautiful oddly shaped pond with two coniferous tree's on the right end and a long stretch of woods(oh yeah, its a pretty long stretch of woods, have seen it on google maps) along its left end. I love the way sun rises up through the woods, the little turtle that sits on the artificial duck to get some warmth, some real ducks and fishes floating around carefree and a fountain in the centre.

Don't we all long for such a house? The one, which we must have heard in fairy tales or must have seen in some movies. It may not be a perfect fairy tale location, but it definitely takes me near to the mother nature everyday, makes me linger around and feel serene each day.

For all this, I thank my hubby dear, who chose this location for us much before I landed in this beautiful country.
